One Milestone After Another – the Rockensußra Substation Is About to Go Live!

For our flagship project in Rockensußra, a substation is being constructed approximately 6.5 km away and is scheduled for completion later this November.

At the heart of the substation is a 63 MVA ONAF transformer that steps up the voltage from 33 kV to 115 kV – forming the technical link into the high-voltage grid of Thüringer Energienetze. This is where our 81 MWp PV plant will feed in its energy in the future.

To fully leverage the grid infrastructure, our planned 50 MW hybrid storage system will also be connected to this substation.

A new cross-arm mast is being installed for the grid connection, enabling the substation to be fully integrated into the network by early 2026.
